Here’s what happens on this website, when you join the launch list and in the current iPhone build.
This website
This site presents Feedskip and offers optional email updates about the iPhone and Android launches. It has no Feedskip app sign-in and uses no client-side analytics or advertising scripts. Fonts and app images are served from the site itself.
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests to deliver and protect the site, which can include IP addresses, browser information and request details. External websites, including Instagram, follow their own policies.
Optional launch updates
If you choose to subscribe, we store your email address, platform interest (iPhone, Android or both), subscription status, the time of your consent and the consent-text version. A personal management token lets you manage your subscription. The launch list is stored in Cloudflare D1.
We use this information to keep the launch list, record your opt-in and provide the launch updates you requested. The checkbox is required to join; joining is optional. At the date above, no launch campaigns have been sent. Signing up does not automatically send a marketing, verification or confirmation email.
After a successful signup, the site provides your personal Manage email updates link. Keep it private and save it: it lets you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing changes your subscription status so it is no longer active. For access to or deletion of your launch-list information, or if you lose your management link, contact [email protected].
Optional next-app votes
You can vote without signing up for emails. We store your selected app, a random browser identifier and the time you voted in Cloudflare D1. The identifier is saved in your browser’s local storage only after you vote, so you can change your choice without adding another vote. It is not linked to your email or Instagram account. Clearing browser storage removes the local identifier, not the saved vote. Contact support if you want help removing your vote.
Form protection
To limit automated signup and voting requests, the endpoint uses short-lived hashed identifiers derived from an IP address and an hourly time window, together with request counts. These are separate from launch-list records. Expired rate-limit records are cleaned during later requests, so cleanup timing depends on subsequent activity.
Your Instagram session
You sign in on instagram.com inside Feedskip’s WebKit view. Website cookies and session data are stored on your iPhone. Feedskip does not upload your Instagram password or sign-in session to a Feedskip server.
Instagram receives and processes the information you send through its website. Feedskip’s interface does not disable Instagram’s own data collection. Instagram account information, communications, media, interactions and website identifiers may be processed by Instagram under its own policies.
What the focused interface processes locally
Feedskip inspects page structure and selected route/profile information on your device to present navigation, verify your own profile, apply browsing restrictions and adjust conversation layout. The app displays your messages; this does not mean it has no local access to the displayed page. The current iPhone build does not send message text to Feedskip servers.
Local settings and Screen Time
Choices such as available sections, appearance and welcome completion are stored on your device. Optional app shielding uses Apple’s Screen Time frameworks to manage authorization and selected app tokens. Feedskip does not need your address book for these controls.
Support information
If you email support, we use the information you send to handle your request. Share only what is needed and remove unrelated personal information. Do not send passwords, verification codes, session cookies or private conversation screenshots.
Your choices and provider data
Change local preferences in Feedskip’s settings. Sign out through Instagram to end the website session. WebKit cookies and website data follow your session and iOS storage behavior.
Deleting Feedskip does not delete your Instagram account, revoke every provider authorization or remove information held by Instagram. Direct Instagram access or deletion requests to Instagram. Launch-list and support-information requests can be sent to [email protected].
The iPhone app is coming soon and Android is in development. We will update this information as the service changes.
